# Add a custom field to the parent portal

- Login to OSM
- Select any member and scroll down to Additional Information
- Click "Add New Field"
- Enter the field name in the top box then click Save
- Click the cog then Parent Portal Settings
- Scroll down to Additional Information and select "Editable" next to the field.
